The Great Khalid Foundation announces Christmas with Khalid

On Friday, officials with the Great Khalid Foundation announced an agreement to team up with  Townsquare Media for the 2019 Season of Giving.

This year’s festive program promises a  number of holiday-inspired events culminating in the Christmas with Khalid toy  distribution.

“We had such a wonderful experience working with the KSII Mike & Tricia Morning show for our Back to School program,” said Linda Wolfe, Executive Director of The Great Khalid  Foundation, “and we’re excited to expand our partnership even further within the  Townsquare Media family.”

School districts from the region were invited to apply and elementary school officials have  been busy at work on the program application. The Great Khalid Foundation will select one  school to present each student with a wrapped Christmas gift this December.

“Our goal is  to keep Christmas alive for El Paso children who might not otherwise have a gift to open, said Linda Wolfe, “we’ve been fortunate enough to do this since 2017 and this will be our  first time under the umbrella of The Great Khalid Foundation.”

The Great Khalid Foundation and Townsquare Media would like to thank Comfort Zone Heating and Cooling, TFCU, and Southwest University along with Edge of Texas, Hawks  Audio Works, and VIVA Auto Group for their support of this year’s Season of Giving.

The Great Khalid Foundation is Khalid’s namesake non-profit organization founded to give  back to the families in the community of El Paso; and is a labor of love for both Khalid and his mother.
