On Wednesday, Hospitals of Providence officials announced that three of their own executives had been honored by being named to the prestigious Becker’s Hospital Review list.
“The Hospitals of Providence is proud to be part of the diverse Paso del Norte region that its healthcare professionals serve,” Hospital officials shared via a news release.
“With that diversity in mind, The Hospitals of Providence congratulates three of its leaders for being named to Becker’s Hospital Review list of “70 African American Leaders in Healthcare to Know.”
Group Chief Human Resources Officer Stephanie Talley, Chief Operating Officer for Sierra Campus Sereka Barlow, and Chief Operating Officer for Memorial Campus Roddex Barlow were recognized for their leadership and hard work with this distinguished designation.
The prestigious list by Becker’s Hospital Review, one of the nation’s top trade publications, honors executives and leaders who influence how their organizations approach healthcare delivery, develop healthcare policy and advocate for the next generation of leaders.
Via the Becker website, their officials shared the following:
“This list highlights African Americans who have taken on leadership roles across the country at hospitals and health systems as well as in national organizations. Both established and emerging leaders are featured on this list. These individuals influence how their organizations approach healthcare delivery, develop healthcare policy and advocate for the next generation of leaders.”
The Hospitals of Providence cover the El Paso Region to include West Texas and Southern New Mexico.
