Tickets on sale now for ‘Brew at the Zoo’

The El Paso Zoological Society (EPZS) invites all  local ‘party animals’ to the second Brew at the Zoo fundraising event from 6 – 10 p.m. on Saturday, November 14, 2015, at the El Paso Zoo.

The first beer tasting event last February sold out with a more than 1,500 attendees and raised more than $20,000 for wildlife education and conservation at the El Paso Zoo! Tickets are now on sale for the second Brew at the Zoo – and the EPZS is expecting another sold out event. Get your tickets early to ensure you can attend this uniquely wild beer tasting.

L&F Distributors will be featuring more than 20 craft breweries, with a sampling a variety of more than 100 beers. Food will be available for purchase from local food trucks. Attendees will receive 12 beer tastes, an Angry Owl Koozie, and a commemorative tasting glass.

Also, attendees will be able to get up close and personal to Zoo animals through interactive animal presentations. Entertainment will be provided by live local acts including: FM Junkies, Kilo and the Dew, Great Shapes, Jaimielynn Amato, Laughterhours Comedy, and Mother of Pearl Vinyl DJs.

Ticket prices range from $25-85. General Admission tickets will increase to $40 on Nov. 9. Tickets may be purchased online athttp://www.epbrewatthezoo.com, or in the El Paso Zoological Society Office at the Zoo during regular Zoo hours.

Funds raised from this event will contribute to EPZS’s support of capital improvement projects and educational conservation programs including,field trips for low-income schools. The El Paso Zoological Society is a 501 (c)(3) not-for-profit organization that supports the growth and continued success of the El Paso Zoo. Through this partnership, EPZS has contributed to many major Zoo improvements and programs.

Users of the ridesharing service Uber can use code “ELPZooRide” to get home from the event safely. Additionally, individuals can call (915) 212-7777 to get a free ride home through the City of El Paso’s “Don’t Gamble With Your Life – No DUI” program.
