Tip time adjusted for Saturday’s UTEP Women’s Basketball Game

The start time for this weekend’s UTEP women’s basketball home contest versus North Texas on January 16 has been moved up, and the game now tip off at 4 p.m. on Saturday.

The Miners will host North Texas at 7 p.m. on Friday to open the weekend before turning around to face the Mean Green a second time at 4 p.m. on Saturday.

The second game between UTEP and North Texas was originally slated to tip off at 2 p.m. on Saturday.

A limited number of fans will be permitted in the Don Haskins Center for UTEP basketball games until further notice, beginning with this weekend’s women’s matchups versus North Texas.

 Tickets are still available for women’s basketball and this includes both five-game flex plans and single-game options. For ticket information and sales, fans can call (915) 747-UTEP, email [email protected] or visit www.UTEPMiners.com/tickets.

Fans are reminded that masks/face coverings are required while in the Haskins Center and on the UTEP campus. Additional COVID-19 protocols for basketball can be found at www.utepminers.com/bbfanprotocols. All fans are highly encouraged to read and be aware of these policies to ensure a safe and enjoyable game day experience.

Friday’s game can be seen on ESPN+ (subscribers only) and fans can tune in to a live audio stream on the UTEP Miners app with Tim Hagerty calling all the action from the Don Haskins Arena.

On Saturday, the game can be seen on CUSA.TV. That game will also be available to listen to on the UTEP Miners app.

All tickets and parking passes for the 2020-21 season will be managed digitally and can be accessed by going online. Season ticket holders who have questions about their tickets or parking passes should call the Eisenberg Family Ticket Office at (915) 747-UTEP or email [email protected]. As a reminder, all seats are reserved and fans must remain in their assigned seats.

Due to COVID-19 protocols, the Haskins Center tunnel entrance is closed to the general public this season. All fans should enter the arena through one of four entrances located at the concourse level.

UTEP students, faculty and staff who plan to attend games are encouraged to take advantage of UTEP’s proactive testing program and obtain a negative result before coming to the venue. For more information, click here.
