Trailblazing Women to be Honored by EPCC Thursday

The El Paso Community College (EPCC) Women’s Diversity Programs will celebrate Women’s History with its annual Diamond Awards.

The them or this year’s event is Nevertheless, Women She Persisted: Women Who Fight Against All Forms of Discrimination Against Women will include a panel discussion and luncheon.

The keynote speaker for the luncheon is former POW and EPCC graduate, Shoshana Johnson. The panel discussion will be moderated by Dr. Mozella Garcia and Arlene Alarcon.

The panelists include Rebekah Bell, EPCC Faculty Association President; Dr. Xiomara C. Chianelli, EPCC faculty; Ouisa Davis, Attorney; Zahara Taki, former EPCC student.
