Tropical Smoothie Cafe Opens Third El Paso Location Friday

Tropical Smoothie Café (TSC), is set to open their third Sun City location on Friday, March 9 in the Coronado Shopping Center (5905 North Mesa, Ste. B) on the city’s west side.

Local business owners Kaleb and Patricia Warnock, and business partner Paul Beltran say they plan to host “the largest grand opening celebration in TSC history.”

The team’s business philosophy stems from their commitment to the community and involving all resources to make El Paso a better place to live, work and raise a family. “I believe that first, you much invest in the community in order for business to thrive,” Kaleb said.

“For this reason, we are happy to be partnering with the El Paso Children’s Foundation during this memorable event. They already support this community in so many ways and it pleases us to use this new business as a way to return the support.”

For this cause, the café franchisee will also be providing a year’s worth of free smoothies to any donation made on grand opening day of $1,000 or more.

The new location will celebrate the grand opening event with giveaways, product tastings, and $1.99 smoothies (limited to one per person) all day. In addition, the first 50 customers to line up by 7 a.m. will receive free smoothies for a year.

The all-day event will feature various activities including magicians, balloon artists, social media giveaways, and more.  Additionally, multiple raffle giveaways will be held throughout the day for the chance to win a TV, Fit Bits, gym memberships, and business catering.

Upon completing two years with the brand, this family-operated franchise duo now own three Tropical Smoothie Cafés in El Paso. They also founded JMKW Development, who constructed the local cafés.

The cafés have sponsored many local initiatives that support several middle and high schools, the Diana’s I Will Live Foundation, the Border Patrol Museum, and the El Paso Police Department for fallen officers.

Prior to becoming a successful local business owner, Kaleb served in the Military as a ranking master-at-arms in the Navy until 2007. Business partner, Paul Beltran also served as a Sergeant in the Marine Corps Reserve for six years until 2012.
