I-10 Widening West
Monday, June 20, from 8am to 4pm
- Eastbound I-10 will be reduced to one lane at Transmountain Road (Loop 375).
- The Transmountain Road onramp to eastbound I-10 will be closed to all traffic.
Crews will be preparing the shoulders for traffic to drive on later in the project.
Monday, June 20, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
- The Redd Road onramp to westbound I-10 will be closed to all traffic.
Crews will be removing foundations.
COMPLETE OVERNIGHT CLOSURE
Monday, June 20, from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.
- Eastbound I-10 will be closed to all traffic between Transmountain Road and Redd Road.
- DETOUR: Take Exit 6 (Loop 375/Transmountain Road), continue on Desert Boulevard South, and re-enter I-10 at Redd Road.
- The direct connector ramp from westbound Transmountain to eastbound I-10 will be closed to all traffic.
- DETOUR: Remain on Transmountain Road, turn left on Desert Boulevard South, and enter I-10 at Redd Road.
- The Transmountain Road and Artcraft Road onramps to eastbound I-10 will be closed to all traffic.
Crews will be removing an overhead sign bridge and installing temporary safety barriers.
Tuesday, June 21, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
- Eastbound I-10 will be reduced to one lane between Transmountain Road and Artcraft Road
- The direct connector ramp from westbound Transmountain to eastbound I-10 will be closed to all traffic.
- DETOUR: Remain on Transmountain Road, turn left on Desert Boulevard South, and enter eastbound I-10 at Artcraft.
- The Transmountain Road onramp to eastbound I-10 will be closed to all traffic.
Crews will be preparing the shoulders for traffic to drive on later in the project.
COMPLETE OVERNIGHT CLOSURE
Tuesday, June 21, from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.
- Westbound I-10 will be closed to all traffic between Artcraft Road and Transmountain Road.
- DETOUR: Take Exit 8 (SH 178/Artcraft Road/Paso del Norte), continue on Desert Boulevard North, and re-enter I-10 at Transmountain.
- The Artcraft Road onramp to westbound I-10 will be closed to all traffic.
Crews will be removing an overhead sign bridge.
Tuesday, June 21, and Wednesday, June 22, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
- The Artcraft Road onramp to westbound I-10 will be closed to all traffic.
Crews will be removing foundations.
Wednesday, June 22, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
- The eastbound I-10 offramp to Artcraft Road (Exit 8) will be closed to all traffic.
- Eastbound I-10 will be reduced to one lane between Canutillo High School and Artcraft Road.
Crews will be removing foundations and widening the shoulder for traffic to drive on later in the project.
Thursday, June 23, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
- Eastbound I-10 will be reduced to one lane at Artcraft Road.
- The Artcraft Road onramp to eastbound I-10 will be closed to all traffic.
Crews will be removing foundations and widening the shoulder for traffic to drive on later in the project.
Friday, June 24, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Saturday from 6 a.m. to 4 p.m.
- Eastbound I-10 will be reduced to one lane between Artcraft Road and Redd Road.
- The Artcraft Road onramp to eastbound I-10 will be closed to all traffic.
- Exit 9 which connects eastbound I-10 to Redd Road will be closed to all traffic.
Crews will be removing foundations and widening the shoulder for traffic to drive on later in the project.
All information is subject to change based upon weather and field conditions.
Transmountain Project
Monday, June 20 and Tuesday, June 21
Nightly, 9 p.m. to 6 a.m.
- Transmountain eastbound closed.
Crews will be installing concrete traffic barrier on the inside shoulder.
Wednesday, June 22 and Thursday, June 23
Nightly, 9 p.m. to 6 a.m.
- Transmountain westbound closed.
Crews will be installing concrete traffic barrier on the inside shoulder.
I-10 Guardrail Replacement Project
Continuous until further notice.
- I-10 westbound between Schuster and Asarco bridge right lane closed.
Crews will be installing metal beam guard fence.
- I-10 eastbound between Asarco bridge and Schuster shoulder closed.
Crews will be working on concrete barrier.
Monday, June 20
Nightly, 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.
- I-10 eastbound between Asarco bridge and Schuster left two lanes closed.
Crews will be removing portable concrete traffic barrier.
District-Wide Striping Project
Sunday, June 19 through Thursday, June 23
Nightly, 9 p.m. to 6 a.m.
- SH-20 (Alameda) east and westbound between Rio Vista and El Paso/Hudspeth County Line.
Crews will be striping during moving operations.
Guardrail Repair Project
Monday, June 20
9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
- I-10 eastbound between Copia and Ramp H right lane closed.
Tuesday, June 21
9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
- Loop 375 (Transmountain) westbound between Franklin Mountains State Park and Paseo Del Norte right lane closed.
Wednesday, June 22
9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
- US-54 northbound between Cassidy and Fred Wilson left lane closed.
Thursday, June 23
9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
- Loop 375 (Border) eastbound at Yarbrough on-ramp closed.
Spall Repair Project:
Monday, June 20 through Thursday, June 23
Nightly, 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.
- I-10 westbound between Geronimo and Schuster overpasses alternate lane closures.
Crews will be repairing spall.
Maintenance
Monday, June 20 through Friday, June 24
9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
- US-54 northbound at Kenworthy exit ramp closed.
Crews will be working on signs.
- Spur 37 (Vinton) westbound between North and South Desert right lane closed.
Crews will be working on handrails.
- Stanton northbound between Kirby and Boston bike lane closed.
Crews will be working on bridge.
- Ramp J closed.
Crews will be trimming trees.
I-10 Connect
Wednesday, June 22, and Thursday, June 23
9 p.m. to 5 a.m.
- A full closure of Ramp A, which connects I-10 westbound to US 54 northbound, at I-10 westbound, will be in place. DETOUR: Traffic should proceed to Cotton Street turnaround and get onto I-10 eastbound to access US 54.
Crews will be performing bridge joint work.
Loop 375 Widening Project
Saturday, June 18, and June 25
5 a.m. until Noon
- Americas Avenue northbound (frontage road) complete road closure from Alameda Avenue to North Loop Road
- Traveling public will detour to Alameda Avenue westbound to Zaragoza Boulevard northbound to North Loop Road eastbound and back onto Loop 375
Crews will work on bridge structures over the railroad
Monday, June 20
Nightly from 9:00 PM to 5:00 AM
- Pan American entrance ramp will be closed
- Traveling public will continue northbound along Americas Avenue (frontage road) to North Loop entrance ramp
Crews will work on retaining walls at Pan American
Monday, June 20 through Thursday, June 23
Nightly from 9:00 PM to 5:00 AM
- Joe Battle Boulevard northbound (frontage road) right lane closure from Rojas Drive to Paseo Del Este Boulevard
Crews will work on High Mast Apron

- South Americas Intersection eastbound right lane closure
Crews will work on bridge structures at South Americas

- Pan American entrance ramp closure
- Traveling public will exit Pan American and detour along Americas Avenue (frontage road) to North Loop entrance ramp
Crews will be working on traffic management camera at Alameda Avenue
Tuesday, June 21 through Thursday, June 23
Nightly from 9:00 PM to 5:00 AM
- Loop 375 southbound Alameda Avenue exit ramp right lane closure
Crews will work on TxDOT cameras
Wednesday, June 22 and Thursday, June 23
Nightly from 9:00 PM to 5:00 AM
- Loop 375 northbound main lanes from Pan American overpass to North Loop Overpass
- Americas Avenue (frontage road) northbound from Alameda Avenue to North Loop Drive
- Pan American entrance ramp will be closed
- Traveling public will use Pan American exit ramp detour frontage road to Alameda Avenue westbound to Zaragoza Road northbound to North Loop Road eastbound and back onto Loop 375
Crews will be working on concrete placement on the new North Loop entrance ramp
District Wide Striping Project
Sunday, June 19 through Thursday, June 23
Nightly, from 9 p.m. until 6 a.m.
- North Loop Road FM-76 from Inglewood Drive to Delta Drive
Crews will be performing mobile operations on removing and replacing roadway pavement markings including intersections and bike lanes
