Transmountain Project
Monday, May 16
Night, 9 p.m. to 6 a.m.
- Transmountain westbound from US-54 to Resler full closure.
Crews will be moving concrete barriers.
Tuesday, May 17 through Wednesday, May 18
Night, 9 p.m. to 6 a.m.
- Transmountain eastbound from Paseo del Norte to US-54 full closure.
Crews will be moving concrete barriers.
Hazard Elimination and Safety Illumination Project
Monday, May 16 through Friday, May 20
9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
- Sunland Park east and westbound between North Desert and Mesa left and right lanes closed.
Crews will be working on new illumination system.
Districtwide Striping Project
Sunday, May 15 through Thursday, May 19
Night, 9 p.m. to 6 a.m.
- SH 20 from roundabouts at Paisano and Alameda to FM 76 alternate lane closures.
- US 85 (Paisano) from 0.28 miles west of Executive to Sant Fe alternate lane closures.
- IH-10 Frontage Road westbound from Copia to Santa Fe alternate lane closures.
- IH-10 ramps at Spaghetti Bowl between Copia and Raynolds alternate lane closures.
- US-54 ramps at Spaghetti Bowl between Alameda and Trowbridge alternate lane closures.
Crews will be removing and restriping during moving operations.
Guardrail Repair Project
Monday, May 16
9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
- I-10 eastbound between Raynolds and Paisano right lane closed with complete Chelsea/Paisano exit ramp closed.
Tuesday, May 17
9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
- North Desert between Mesa and Thorn left lane closed with complete turnaround closed from South to North Desert.
Wednesday, May 18
9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
- US-54 northbound between Cassidy and Fred Wilson right lane closed.
- I-10 eastbound between Executive and UTEP right lane closed.
Thursday, May 19
9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
- South Desert between Vinton and Nashua right lane closed.
Friday, May 20
9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
- North Desert between Transmountain and Vinton right and left lane closed.
Spall Repair Project:
Monday, May 16 through Thursday, May 19
Night, 9 pm. To 5 a.m.
- I-10 westbound between McRae Overpass an I-10/US-54/Loop 375 Interchange (Spaghetti Bowl) alternate left lane closures.
Crews will be repairing spall.
Maintenance
Monday, May 16 through Friday, May 20
9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
- Chelsea to McRae east and westbound alternating lane closures.
Crews will be sweeping inside shoulders.
Loop 375 Widening Project
Monday, May 16 through Thursday, May 19, 2022
Nightly, from 9 p.m. until 5a.m.
- Loop 375 southbound main lanes closure at Vista Del Sol.
Traveling public traffic detour at Vista Del Sol Exit and re-enter at Pan American.

- Vista Del Sol Entrance ramp will be closed
- Pellicano Entrance Ramp will be closed
- North Loop Entrance ramp will be closed
- Southbound direct connectors will be closed.
- Traveling public will have to exit IH-10 at Zaragoza or Eastlake to use frontage roads
Crews will be drilling bridge foundations and demolishing existing bridge decks and reconfiguring pavement markings

- All traffic will travel along frontage roads to next available intersection.
Crews will be removing concrete bridge overhang.
Montana Frontage Road Project
Monday, May 16 through Friday, May 20
Daily, from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m.
- Montana Avenue (US 62/180) at Yarbrough Intersection eastbound and westbound frontage road alternating lane closure
Crews will be installing temporary traffic signal span wires, traffic conductors, traffic signal heads, etc.
Monday, May 16 through Thursday, May 19
Nightly, from 9 p.m. until 5 a.m.
- Global Reach Drive complete northbound and southbound lanes between Edgemere Boulevard and Spur 601
Crews will be working on landscaping
Thursday, May 19
Daily, from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m.
- Montana Avenue (US 62/180) at Joe Battle Drive Intersection westbound frontage
- Northbound right lane closure
- Southbound left lane closure
- Westbound right lane closure
Crews will be doing Traffic Switch
Construction of Safety Lighting Project
Monday, May 16 through Friday, May 20
Daily, from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m.
- Dyer Street (US 54) northbound and southbound left lane closures between Gateway Boulevard North and Sunrise Avenue
Crews will be constructing new safety lighting
I-10 Connect
Monday, May 16, through Friday, May 20
9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
- A full closure of Ramp F, which connects I-10 westbound to I-110 southbound, will be in place. DETOUR: Traffic should use US 54 northbound to access the Pershing Drive turnaround to get to US 54 southbound and Juarez.
Crews will be performing bridge painting work.
Monday, May 16, through Friday, May 20
Closure will be 24/7
- A full closure of San Antonio Street, from Paisano Drive to Latta Street, will be in place.
Crews will be working on landscaping on San Antonio Street.
Sunday, May 22
9 p.m. to 5 a.m.
- A full closure of Ramp A, which connects I-10 westbound to US 54 northbound, at I-10 westbound, will be in place. DETOUR: Traffic should use the Cotton Street turnaround and proceed to I-10 eastbound to access US 54 and Juarez.
Crews will be performing striping work.
Monday, May 23
9 p.m. to 5 a.m.
- A full closure of US 54 southbound at the US 54 southbound CD lanes will be in place.
- A full closure of the US 54 southbound entrance ramp at Chester Avenue will be in place. DETOUR: Traffic should use the Cotton Street turnround and proceed to I-10 eastbound to access US 54 and Juarez.
