Loop 375 Frontage Road Project
Monday, Jan. 11, 2021, through Friday, Jan. 15, 2021 (Be prepared to stop)
Daily, from 7 a.m. until 4 p.m.
- South Americas Avenue (frontage road) southbound to northbound turnaround will be blocked occasionally near Union Pacific Railroad
- South Americas Avenue southbound to northbound traffic will remain open and be flagged through work zone
Crews will be hauling material for retaining walls
Safety Improvement Project
Monday, Jan. 11, 2021, through Friday, Jan. 15, 2021
9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
- Montana and Krag intersection alternate lane closures.
- Hawkins and North Loop between Oportunidad and Dale alternate lane closures.
- North Loop and Hawkins between Bucher and Orgain Way alternate lane closures.
- Montana at Copia intersection between North Stevens and Grama alternate lane closures.
- Copia and Montana intersection between Tularosa and La Luz alternate lane closures.
- Bob Hope and Joe Battle intersection alternate lane closures.
- Mesa and Missouri intersection alternate lane closures.
- Crews will be working on traffic signal improvements.
- US-54 north and southbound between McCombs and New Mexico State Line alternate lane closures.
- US-54 and Dyer intersection alternate lane closures.
- Crews will be doing shoulder work.
Bridge Maintenance Project
Sunday, Jan. 10, 2021, through Monday, Jan. 11, 2021
Nightly, 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.
- US-54 northbound at Ellerthorpe complete closure.
- All traffic directed to Ellerthorpe exit.
- Spur 601 to US-54 northbound direct connector ramp closed.
- US-54 southbound entrance ramp at Fred Wilson closed.
- Crews will be cleaning and sealing.
Monday, Jan. 11, 2021, through Tuesday, Jan. 12, 2021
Nightly, 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.
- US-54 southbound at Ellerthorpe complete closure.
- All traffic directed to Ellerthorpe exit.
- Entrance ramp before Ellerthorpe closed.
- Crews will be cleaning and sealing.
Tuesday, Jan. 12, 2021, through Friday, Jan. 15, 2021
Nightly, 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.
- I-10 westbound between Copia and Piedras complete closure.
- Merge US-54 west to one lane directing traffic to Piedras.
- Crews will be cleaning and sealing.
Monday, Jan. 11, 2021, through Friday, Jan. 15, 2021
7 a.m. to 5 p.m. (all work performed underneath I-10 bridges).
- I-10 west and eastbound turnarounds at Trowbridge closed.
- I-10 south and northbound at Trowbridge alternate lane closures.
- Crews will be forming.
Guardrail Repair Project

- I-10 westbound at Copia exit ramp complete closure.
- Crews will be working on guardrail.
Tuesday, Jan. 12, 2021
9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
- I-10 westbound between Hawkins and Airway right lane closed.
- Crews will be working on guardrail.
Wednesday, Jan. 13, 2021
9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
- I-10 eastbound at Geronimo on-ramp complete closure.
- Crews will be working on guardrail.
Thursday, Jan. 14, 2021
9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
- I-10 westbound between Resler and Mesa right lane closed.

Maintenance
Sunday, Jan. 10, 2021
8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
- BU-54 (Dyer) and Angora intersection alternate lane closures.
- Crews will be striping.
Monday, Jan. 11, 2021, through Friday, Jan. 15, 2021
8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
- Loop 375 (Border Hwy) westbound between Cole and Park right lane closed.
- Crews will be pruning trees and cleaning.
- I-10 east and westbound between Sunland Park and Mesa alternate lane closures.
- Crews will be cleaning.
Van Horn Rest Area Project
Wednesday, Jan. 13, 2021, 9 a.m.-Monday, March 15, 2021, 5 p.m.
I-10 Eastbound
- The right lane will be closed, East of Wild Horse Road, mile marker 149 to just west of Michigan flats mile marker 152.
- The closure is to allow the contractor to set barriers, mill the right shoulder, place cement treated subgrade and asphalt and illuminations for the new eastbound rest area exit ramp.
- A speed reduction from 80 MPH to 65 MPH will be in place.
Thursday, Jan. 14, 2021, 9 a.m.-Monday, March 15, 2021, 5 p.m.
I-10 Westbound
- The right lane will be closed, West of Michigan flats mile marker 151, to just east of Wild Horse Road, mile marker 149.
- The closure is to allow the contractor to set barriers, mill the right shoulder, placed cement treated subgrade and asphalt and illuminations for the new WB rest area exit ramp.
- A speed reduction from 80 MPH to 65 MPH will be in place.
- The North Frontage road between Michigan Flats and Wild Horse Road will remain closed.
