As August closes out and September approaches, crews continue their work on area roadways, highways and byways to make resident’s travels safer and easier.

I-10 Connect
Sunday, Aug. 30
9 p.m. to 5 a.m.
- Eastbound I-10 will be closed to all traffic at US 54.
- DETOUR: Take Exit 22A (Loop 478/Copia Street), continue on Gateway Boulevard East, then re-enter I-10 at Raynolds.NOTE: Gateway East will temporarily re-open near Lincoln Park to accommodate this detour. However, it will only be open to single lane of traffic.
- Crews will be conducting maintenance work on the main lanes of I-10.
District Wide Striping Project
Sunday, Aug 30 through Friday, Sept 4
Nightly, from 9 p.m. until 6 a.m. (overnight/different time and locations) and continuous until further notice
- 1-10 alternating eastbound and westbound lanes between Kansas Street and Sun Bowl Drive to include intersections, entrance and exit ramps
- Closure is necessary for mobile striping operation
Loop 375 Frontage Road Project
Monday, Aug 31 through Saturday, Sept 5 (complete closure)
Daily, from 6 a.m. until 4 p.m. and continuous until further notice
- South Americas Avenue (frontage road) northbound to southbound turnaround complete closure at North Loop Drive
- South Americas Avenue southbound traffic detour at North Loop Drive
- Crews will be hauling material for retaining walls
Monday, Aug 31 through Friday, Sept 4
Nightly, from 9 p.m. until 5 a.m. (overnight) and continuous until further notice
- South Americas Avenue (frontage road) southbound left lane closure from Socorro Road to Pan American
- Crews will be pouring stamped concrete riprap

Nighty, from 9 p.m. until 5 a.m. (overnight)
- South Americas Avenue (frontage road) northbound right lane closure at Joe Rodriguez Drive
- Only thru traffic will be allowed with aid of Flaggers
- Crews will be moving portable concrete traffic barrier and striping
Monday, Aug 31 (complete closure)
Nightly, from 9 p.m. until 5 a.m. (overnight)
- South Americas Avenue (frontage road) northbound complete closure between Zaragoza Road and Pan American
- South Americas Avenue traveling public traffic detour at Zaragoza Road to Alameda Avenue
- Crews will be moving portable concrete traffic barrier and striping
Loop 375 Overlay Project
Monday, August 31 through Friday, September 4
9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Loop 375 west and eastbound between Railroad and Dyer complete closure.
- Loop 375 west and eastbound between Railroad and Dyer alternate lane closures.
- Loop 375 eastbound between Bomarc and Railroad off-ramp closed.
- Loop 375 westbound at McCombs on-ramp closed.
- Crews will be milling and placing asphalt.
Guardrail Repair
Monday, August 31

- I-10 westbound at Paisano on-ramp complete closure.
- Crews will be working on guardrails.
Tuesday, September 1
9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
- Loop 375 eastbound between Ascarate Park and Fonseca right lane closed.

Wednesday, September 2
9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
- US-85 westbound between Spur 1966 and Ruhlen Court right and left lanes closed.
- SH-178 eastbound between Upper Valley and Doniphan left lane closed.
- SH-178 westbound Doniphan on-ramp complete closure.
- Crews will be working on guardrails.
Thursday, September 3
9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
- US-54 southbound at Martin Luther King Jr exit ramp complete closure.

- I-10 westbound between Mesa Park and Sunland Park right lane closed.

Pothole Repair

9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
- SH-20 (Mesa) westbound between Camille and Alto Mesa right lane closed.
- Crews will be working on pothole repairs.
Spall Repair

- I-10 eastbound between Airway and Hawkins alternating lane closures.
- Crews will be working on concrete spall repair.
Miscellaneous Concrete

Nightly, 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.
- I-10 eastbound between Porfirio Diaz and Santa Fe right lane closed with a complete off-ramp closure at Santa Fe.
- Crews will be repairing curb.
Maintenance

Starting Monday, August 10 (including Saturdays and Sundays)
9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
- I-10 east and westbound between Mesa and Vinton and North and South Desert alternating left and right lanes and/or shoulder closures.
- Crews will be boring.
Transmountain Project
Daily until further notice
- Transmountain west and eastbound between US-54 and Tom Mays State Park reduced to one lane in both directions. Bike lane closed.
- Crews will be working on roadway, guardrail, asphalt repair, and placement.
Mesa Rehabilitation Project
Sunday, August 30 through Thursday, September 3
Nightly, 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.
- Mesa southbound lanes between Sunland Park and Mesa Hills complete closure.
- Crews will be paving.
Monday, August 31 through Thursday, September 3
Nightly, 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.
- Mesa northbound lanes between Baltimore and Brentwood complete closure.
- Crews will be paving.
Continuous until further notice.
- Mesa northbound between Baltimore and Brentwood reduced to one lane.
