TxDot, Connect10 detours, closures for the remainder of 2020
Even as the holidays approach, some work will continue on the various project around the Sun City.
Please see full closure lists below, as they cover the next two weeks as both staff and contractors, are taking some time off during the holidays.

Loop 375 Frontage Road Project
Monday, Dec. 21, 2020, through Wednesday, Dec. 23, 2020 (Be prepared to stop)
Daily, from 7 a.m. until 4 p.m.
- South Americas Avenue (frontage road) southbound to northbound turnaround will be blocked occasionally near Union Pacific Railroad (UPRR)
- South Americas Avenue southbound to northbound traffic will remain open and be flagged through work zone
Crews will be hauling material for retaining walls
Monday, Dec. 28, 2020 through Wednesday, Dec. 30, 2020 (Be prepared to stop)
Daily, from 7 a.m. until 4 p.m.

I-10 Connect
Friday, Dec. 18, 2020, Monday, Dec. 21, 2020 and Tuesday, Dec. 22, 2020
Daily from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
- Ramp N which connects eastbound Loop 375 to northbound US 54 will be closed to all traffic.
- DETOUR: Continue on eastbound Loop 375, take Exit 56 (Fonseca Drive), enter westbound Loop 375, take Exit 20 (US 54/US 62).
Crews will be installing an overhead sign.
Monday, Dec. 21, 2020 through Wednesday, Dec. 23, 2020
Daily from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
- The shoulder on eastbound Loop 375 between US 54 and Coles Street will be closed.
Crews will be working on drilled shafts for new sign assemblies.
REMINDER: Long term closure of Ramp H scheduled to begin in February
In February 2021, Ramp H which connects eastbound I-10 to northbound US 54 is scheduled to close until further notice. All traffic bound from eastbound I-10 to US 54 or Juárez should follow marked detours which will be in place.
As part of the I-10 Connect Project, all access from US 62 (Paisano Drive) to the Bridge of the Americas has been permanently removed to alleviate congestion which has impacted neighborhoods near the Chamizal National Memorial for years.
