Crews continue to keep busy as we enter the second month of 2021. Traffic switches are scheduled on our Mesa and Montana projects plus we have closures scheduled for core sampling and bridge inspections.
Major overnight lane closures are scheduled next week so crews can relocate thousands of linear feet of concrete safety barrier around the I-10 Connect work zone. Each segment is approximately 30 feet long and 42 inches tall.
Many of the barriers will be placed along westbound Interstate 10 between Trowbridge Drive and US 54 where crews will begin work on overhead sign structures.
Once the barriers have been relocated, motorists on westbound I-10 should anticipate narrower lanes when driving through the work zone.
