While no closures are scheduled for the Fourth of July, there are plenty of other detours and closures to be aware of, starting with traffic lane re-configurations will still be in place on:

27 HOURS — 3 am to 6 am the next day
· I-10 Westbound will close completely at the North Mesa Street overpass. · Motorists on I-10 Westbound will exit at North Mesa Street (Exit 11) and follow the frontage to re-enter I-10 at the next entrance ramp. · Crews will be pouring concrete onto the I-10 overpass at North Mesa Street (SH 20). NOTE: For several hours during the closure of I-10 Westbound, it may seem as though no work is taking place; but in fact, the freshly poured concrete will be curing (drying and hardening).
13 HOURS – 3 am to 4 pm · North Mesa Street (SH 20) will close completely in both directions under the I-10 overpass. · All entrance ramps to I-10 from North Mesa Street will be open. · Crews will be pouring concrete onto the I-10 overpass at North Mesa Street. · Follow the detour signs.
9 HOURS – 9 pm to 6 am the next day · I-10 Eastbound will close completely at the North Mesa Street overpass. · The North Mesa entrance ramp to I-10 Eastbound will close. · Motorists on I-10 Eastbound will exit at North Mesa (Exit 11) and follow North Mesa Street to Doniphan Drive, then follow Doniphan Drive to Sunland Park Drive. Motorists may enter I-10 Eastbound using the Sunland Park entrance ramp. · Crews will be making improvements to pavement markers. |
I-10 West at Sunland
