Montana/Mattox Traffic and Operation Improvements Project
Starting Monday July 23 – continuous until further notice
- Montana will be reduced to two lanes east and westbound between Hawkins Boulevard and Rutherglen Street
Alameda Reconstruction Project
Monday, July 23 (closure until further notice)
9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
- Alameda Avenue (SH 20) westbound lane closure between Gaspar Street and Walmart Supercenter intersection
- Alameda Avenue (SH 20) traffic will be channelized to a single lane in each direction, utilizing the newly constructed SH 20 eastbound lanes
Braided Ramp:
Monday, July 23 (closure until November)
8 a.m.
- Gateway Boulevard (I-10) westbound Viscount entrance ramp closes
Westway Project Phase III
Monday, July 23 through Wednesday, July 25
9 p.m. to 6 a.m. (nightly)
- Complete closure on I-10 east and westbound at Vinton
US 54 Widening and Illumination Project
Monday, July 23 through Wednesday, July 25
9 p.m. to 5 a.m. (nightly)
- Complete closure of US 54 southbound between Hondo Pass Drive and Hercules Avenue
- Crews will be working on the pedestrian bridge, pouring concrete and then letting it cure
- Detour: Southbound traffic will exit US 54 southbound Hercules exit ramp, go through Hercules and Dyer intersections and back onto the freeway at Dyer-US 54
Mesa Park Project
Sunday, July 22 through Thursday, July 26
9 p.m. to 6 a.m. (nightly)
- Complete closure on I-10 eastbound at Executive
- Detour: Eastbound traffic will exit at the Executive exit ramp and re-enter at the Wyoming entrance ramp
Tuesday, July 24 through Wednesday, July 25
9 p.m. to 6 a.m. (nightly)
- Complete closure on I-10 Eastbound at Executive
- Detour: Eastbound traffic will exit at the North Mesa (11) exit ramp and re-enter at the Downtown Wyoming entrance ramp
Sunday, July 29 through Thursday, August 2
9 p.m. to 6 a.m. (nightly)
- Complete closure on I-10 eastbound at Sunland Park
- Detour: Traffic will exit at Sunland Park and re-enter at Executive
- Crews will be repaving shoulder, restriping and working on existing roadway
Mall Braided Ramps Project
Monday, July 23 (complete closure)
9 p.m. to 5 a.m. (overnight)
- I-10 westbound complete lane closure between Viscount Boulevard and Hawkins Boulevard
- Crews will be installing portable concrete traffic barrier
Tuesday, July 24 (complete closure)

- I-10 westbound complete lane closure between McRae Boulevard and Geronimo Drive
- Crews will be installing portable concrete traffic barrier
Wednesday, July 25 (complete closure)

- Crews will be removing portable concrete traffic barrier and overhead sign structure
LP 375 Border Highway

· I-10 Eastbound will close at North Mesa Street (exit 11). Detour: Motorists will exit at North Mesa Street (Exit 11) and will be able to re-enter I-10 Eastbound at the downtown Wyoming Avenue entrance ramp.
· The Sunland Park Drive overpass at I-10 will close in both directions. · The North Mesa Street entrance ramp to I-10 Eastbound will close. · The Resler Drive entrance ramp to I-10 Eastbound will close. · Both Sunland Park Drive entrance ramps to I-10 Eastbound will close. · Crockett Street access to Paisano Drive (US 85) will close.
Crews will be constructing bridges in several locations inside the GO 10 project limits.
Note: This closure happens in conjunction with a different closure of I-10 Eastbound, which starts at Executive Center Boulevard and is being conducted by the Mesa Park Project. · The right lane on North Mesa Street (SH 20) – in the direction traveling toward Doniphan Drive – will close between North Desert Boulevard and Osborne Drive.
Crews will continue work on a water storm drain.
Note: One Sun Metro bus stop on North Mesa Street at Osborne Drive (near Taco Cabana) will be closed July 25-27 due to this work activity.
