GO 10 will open the Sunland Park main overpass in phases starting next week. That means that motorists that take the Sunland Park overpass as part of their regular commute need to be cautious next week and expect a change in lane patterns.
Mesa Park Project
Sunday, Nov. 11 into Monday, Nov. 12
12 a.m. to 5 a.m. (one night only)
- Eastbound Executive exit ramp will be closed
- Crews will be pouring concrete for roadway barrier in the area
US 54 Widening and Illumination Project
Monday, Nov. 12 through Friday, Nov. 16

- Alternate lane closures on Gateway Boulevard North and South between Hondo Pass Drive to Transmountain

Sunday, November 11
8 p.m. to 6 a.m. the next morning
- I-10 eastbound will close at the North Mesa exit ramp (Exit 11).
- Detour: Motorists will exit at North Mesa (Exit 11) and immediately re-enter I-10 at the next ramp.
- Crews will be working on an arroyo bridge.
North Mesa
Monday, November 12 through Thursday, November 15
8 p.m. each night to 6 a.m. each morning
- North Mesa Street (SH 20) eastbound lanes (traveling in the direction toward Remcon) will close between Osborne Drive and Remcon Circle.
- The North Mesa exit ramp (Exit 11) from I-10 eastbound will be open; however, motorists will only be able to turn right onto North Mesa Street (SH 20) at the North Mesa signalized intersection.
- The North Mesa entrance ramp to I-10 eastbound will close. Detour: Motorists should use an alternate entrance ramp.
- The North Mesa exit ramp (Exit 11) from I-10 westbound will close.
- Crews will be installing concrete pavement on North Mesa Street (SH 20).
Sunland Park
Tuesday, November 13 through Thursday, November 15
8 p.m. each night to 6 a.m. each morning
- The exit ramps and entrance ramps at the I-10/Sunland Park interchange will close.
- Sunland Park Drive will close in both directions between Machuca Road and the mall signalized intersection. Detour: Motorists should use an alternate route or follow the detour signs in place.
- The Sunland Park flyover entrance ramp to I-10 eastbound will close.
- Paisano Drive (US 85) westbound will close at McNutt Road (NM 273). Detour: Motorists on westbound Paisano Drive (US 85) will exit at McNutt Road (NM 273).
- The Racetrack Drive entrance ramp to westbound Paisano Drive (US 85) will close.
- Crockett Street access to Paisano Drive (US 85) – near the auto dealerships – will be open.
- Lane pattern change: Crews will be re-configuring traffic lane patterns on Sunland Park Drive. Crews are targeting the night of Nov. 14 to open some traffic lanes on the Sunland Park main, middle overpass.
