Crews will be busy throughout the Borderland this weekend as they continue demolition of Sunland Park bridges this weekend, among other projects.
- I-10 at Sunland Park 57-hour runs through Monday at 6 a.m. I-10 will be closed in both directions along with Sunland Park Drive from Mesa Hills to Paisano, associated ramps plus Resler on ramp. More details online
- Diana underpass closes for three months starting May 15. To prepare, Gateway South Diana to Hondo Pass will be closed Monday night 9 p.m. -5 a.m. so crews can stripe. Drivers can use gateways and turnarounds at Transmountain and Hondo Pass. More info here

· Sunland Park Drive southbound will close at Mesa Hills Drive. · Sunland Park Drive northbound will close at Paisano Drive (US 85). · The Sunland Park entrance ramp to I-10 Westbound will close. · The Sunland Park flyover entrance ramp to I-10 Eastbound will close. · The Resler entrance ramp to I-10 Eastbound will close. · All access points to Paisano Drive (US 85) will close.
Detours:
Crews will be removing 28 steel girders from the old Sunland flyover ramp. Each girder weighs more than 100,000 pounds.
Oversized vehicles on I-10 Westbound should use an alternate route to avoid the I-10/Sunland Park interchange during this weekend closure.

· North Desert Boulevard is reduced to one lane for approximately 2,000 feet starting at North Mesa Street. The entrance ramp will remain open.
Crews are widening North Desert Boulevard.

· I-10 Westbound will close between the Sunland Park exit ramp and the Sunland Park entrance ramp.
· The Sunland Park Drive overpass will close in both directions. · Access to the entrance ramp to I-10 Westbound from Sunland Park Drive will be subject to closure.
Detour: Motorists on I-10 Westbound will exit at Sunland Park (Exit 13) and immediately re-enter I-10 using the next entrance ramp. Motorists on Sunland Park Drive should follow the detour signs.

| North Mesa Street

· North Mesa Street (SH 20) will reduce to one lane in both directions between Osborne Drive and Remcon Circle.
Crews are demolishing the median of North Mesa Street (SH 20) and installing temporary paving.

· I-10 Westbound will close at North Mesa Street (Exit 11).
· North Mesa Street (SH 20) will close in both directions under the I-10 overpass.
Detour: I-10 Westbound traffic will exit at North Mesa (Exit 11) and immediately re-enter I-10 Westbound at the next entrance ramp. Traffic on North Mesa Street (SH 20) should follow the detour signs in place.
Crews will be setting bridge girders for what will be the new I-10 Westbound overpass.
