Officials with University Medical Center of El Paso announced the opening its online registration (via their website) at 6 p.m. Thursday, April 22 to accommodate up to 20,000 appointments for vaccination with the Pfizer vaccine.
“Today’s registration event comes on the heels of a very successful and ongoing collaboration with the City of El Paso to utilize the city’s preexisting registration list of people wanting to be vaccinated,” UMC officials shared.
“However, the number of El Pasoans remaining on that list who have not already received the vaccine no longer exceeds the available vaccination appointments offered by the city and UMC.”
All adults are qualified to register on the site. Those who are 16 or 17 years of age can also register but must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian when arriving at the vaccination site.
Those interested in registering can do so at www.UMCelpaso.org, as soon as the system opens at 6 p.m. today.
