Unpaved Roads/Alley Project in Downtown Work to Begin Monday

The City of El Paso as its plan to improve air quality by reducing particulate matter, a regulated air pollutant, will commence a project on Monday, May 2, 2016, to pave an alley and a street segment in the downtown area.

The alley located behind Texas Avenue between Ochoa and Ange streets will be paved along with the section of N. Virginia Street between Texas and Mills Avenue.

The project will be conducted in phases and should be completed within six weeks.

Proper traffic control measures are in place to direct the traveling public through the affected areas while the work is in progress.
