UTEP Alumni Association seeing nominees for Alumni Awards

The University of Texas at El Paso Alumni Association and the Office of Alumni Relations are calling for nominations of excellent alumni for the University’s prestigious Distinguished Alumni and Gold Nugget awards.

“As part of this long-standing tradition, the selected honorees will be invited to this year’s Homecoming festivities in the fall and will be asked to participate in a number of activities, including celebratory receptions, the Distinguished Alumni Awards Dinner and the Homecoming football game,” UTEP officials shared.

The deadline to submit nominations is Friday, Feb. 21, 2020.

The Distinguished Alumni Award is the highest honor bestowed on exceptional alumni by the University. The Gold Nugget awards are presented to outstanding alumni by UTEP’s individual colleges and schools.

Nominations are open to any UTEP graduates who have distinguished themselves in their professions and lives by giving back to their communities and alma mater, and who serve as an inspiration for future generations of Miners.

For additional information about the nomination process, please call 915-747-6361. To download the nomination form, visit this website.
