UTEP Alumni to Come Together for Worldwide PICK-NIC

The University of Texas at El Paso alumni, family and friends are invited to celebrate their Miner Pride around the world at UTEP Alumni PICK–NICs on Saturday, July 16.

The UTEP Alumni Association and local hosts have organized more than 29 PICK-NICS for UTEP Miners to reconnect and celebrate their alma mater.

“The Alumni PICK-NIC is a great opportunity for our alumni to come together wherever you are that day and have a picnic,” said Richard Daniel, Ph.D., associate vice president for university advancement and special projects at UTEP. “Your PICK-NIC may be at Central Park in New York City, at an event in Los Angeles, or at Memorial Park here in El Paso. No matter where it is, it will be a great time with the alumni family.”

The El Paso PICK-NIC will feature food and fun for the whole family. Festivities include live music, face painting, water games, a magic show, a Zumba class, prizes, giveaways and a special visit from Paydirt Pete and the UTEP Cheerleaders.
