Officials with UTEP Athletics announced Tuesday morning that they are seeking 10 new members for its Fan Council, as 10 current members are nearing the end of their one-year terms.
“The Fan Council serves as a conduit through which Miner fans can formally engage the athletic department with ideas, questions and feedback,” UTEP officials shared.
In addition, the Fan Council serves as advocates to Miner fans, helping address the myriad of complex issues facing today’s Division I Athletic Department.
The Fan Council meets quarterly and consists of a total of 30 members on one, two and three-year terms. Incoming members will serve for a total of three years.
The application process is open now through June 15. To apply, click here. Members will be selected in June and will be invited to their first Fan Council meeting in July.
