Special Promotions Set For UTEP Men’s And Women’s Basketball Home Games Vs. UTSA

UTEP men’s and women’s basketball fans are in for a special week with the Miners holding special promotional nights for the respective match-ups against in-state rival UTSA.

First-year head coach Joe Golding and his squad will play host to the Roadrunners in the “Noche Latina” game at 7 p.m. MT on Thursday (Jan. 20). UTEP women’s head coach Kevin Baker and his squad will lock up with UTSA as part of “Hispanic Heritage Day” at 1 p.m. on Sunday (Jan. 23).

For both games there will be Folklorico Dancers, a Mariachi Band, $6 Margaritas and $6 Tacos. Additionally, the UTEP men’s team will don their Mineros’ jerseys.
