UTEP introduces ‘Fan Cutouts’ at Sun Bowl Stadium

Monday afternoon, UTEP Miners announced a new way for UTEP fans to cheer on the Miners at the Sun Bowl Stadium as attendance remains restricted at 18 percent capacity.

“UTEP partnered with Allstate Agent Oscar Arrieta to present fan cutouts,” officials shared. “Fans can purchase a cutout for $39 or contact the Oscar Arrieta’s Allstate office to see how you can receive a free cutout.”

The new program allows UTEP fans to take and submit a photo of themselves, friend, child, or pet and have a 2D photo printed and placed in the stands of the Sun Bowl Stadium during a home UTEP football game.

Fans are asked to wear UTEP gear in the photo and they may even see themselves on TV.

To ensure that your cutout will be in the stands by the next home game, fans are asked to purchase and upload their photo 6 days prior to the upcoming home game.

UTEP Athletics officials added that they reserve the right to refuse any photos that contain commercial advertising, political logos, statements, offensive, obscene, or negative comments on photos.

The fan cutout will be available for pickup at the end of the football season. Details and instructions for pick up will follow towards the end of the UTEP football season.
