UTEP Men’s Golf Tied For Seventh
LIHUE, HI.- At the end of day one, the UTEP men’s golf team is tied for seventh place at the John A. Burns Intercollegiate at the Wailua Golf Course in Lihue, HI. The No. 49 Miners share the spot with Arizona after both teams shot an opening round of 290.
Frederik Dreier, Andreas Sorensen, and Nicklas Pihl are all tied at the top of the UTEP scorecard for 23rd, each firing a round of 72.
Charles Corner and Aaron Terrazas both shot a round of 74 to finish the day tied for 51st, while Prescott Mann, playing as an individual, is in a tie for 80th. Mann shot a first round of 77.
Day two of the three day tournament will begin in a shot gun start at 8:30 a.m. HI (11:30 MT) Thursday.
