UTEP Rifle looks to close out Fall Schedule strong at home

The UTEP rifle team will return to their home range this week to play host to Alaska Fairbanks on Friday, November 22 at 8 a.m.

Admission is free to the UTEP Rifle Range and live stats will be available online.

Senior Mara Rouse led the Miners in their last match against Ohio State, registering a new career high aggregate of 1163. The team captain also posted a career high in smallbore (579) and a new season best in air rifle (584).

Freshman Jonna Warnken (1141) and sophomore Morgahn Warner (1138) followed Rouse in the team rankings.

The Orange and Blue has steadily increased their average team aggregate to 4576. They will hope to increase that number in their last fall contest on Friday.

The Nanooks are coming off of a season-best 4663 performance against TCU on Oct. 12. Jessica Boyce and Kellen McAferty both locked in an 1169 aggregate in the outing.
