UTEP Sending 13 Entries to NCAA West Prelims

The UTEP track and field team will be represented by 13 entries at next week’s NCAA West Preliminaries as official selections were announced Thursday.

The meet will take place May 23-25 at Hornet Stadium in Sacramento, California.

The Miners’ 13 entries – eight women, five men – are spread among 12 events. The top 12 finishers in each event will then advance to the 2019 NCAA Championships (June 5-8) in Austin, Texas.
