UTEP senior wide receiver Justin Garrett is featured on this week’s episode of the “Picks Up Podcast,” hosted by the “Voice of the Miners” Jon Teicher.
Garrett breaks down his UTEP career, including his fast start for the 3-1 Miners. Garrett has tallied 19 catches for 287 yards and a touchdown early this season.
As a Redshirt Junior, Garrett garnered honorable mention All-Conference USA honors as a punt returner. In 2019 he played in all 12 games, while making three starts at receiver for the Miners.
Garrett led UTEP with 40 receptions for 446 yards (11.1 ypc) and three touchdowns on the season, and averaged 37.2 receiving yards per game. He also had a career-high 11 receptions for 77 yards on the road versus North Texas.
