The UTEP soccer team, along with host El Paso Parks and Recreation Department, will be holding a 3v3 Easter Shootout on Saturday, April 11, at the Westside Sports Complex.
“We are also grateful to El Paso Parks and Recreation for helping us to host our first 3v3 Easter Shootout,” UTEP head coach Kathryn Balogun said. “It is going to be a day of soccer, music, giveaways, prizes and even an Easter egg hunt. I’m excited to meet as many of you this spring as possible.”
There will be brackets based upon age groups and gender, with each team (maximum six players) scheduled to play three games. There will be additional contests for teams that qualify for the playoffs. The victorious squad will take home championship prizes for their efforts.
In addition to the soccer, there will be an Easter egg hunt with food, music and fun for the whole family.
The event is open to boys and girls who are in eighth grade or below. Sign up information can be found online.
