The UTEP softball team will conclude fall play with a double-header against Odessa (1 & 3 p.m.) at Helen of Troy Softball Complex.
The Miners have shown progress in all areas in preparation for the 2019 campaign.
Freshmen pitchers Alexis Hamilton, Bryana Munoz and Nadya Orozco have all received valuable reps in the circle for UTEP, while veterans Kira McKechnie, Julia Wright and Allie Johnson have added to their pitching arsenals.
The bats for the Orange and Blue have been scorching this fall averaging 9.67 runs per contest. Last weekend the Miners claimed two victories over Cisco College, 14-7,16-2.
This run support has led to a 4-2 record and a positive glimpse on what to expect in the spring from the UTEP bats.
Admission for both of Sunday’s games is free.
