UTEP-UTSA Football Game Moved to ESPN2, 8:15 p.m. Kickoff on Nov. 6

The UTSA at UTEP football game will be televised on ESPN2 with kickoff being moved to 8:15 p.m. MT on Nov. 6 in Sun Bowl Stadium.

The contest was originally scheduled for a 2 p.m. kick.

“We’re excited to play on ESPN2,” Miners’ Head Coach Dana Dimel said. “It’s an honor to play before a national television audience. It’s an opportunity to bring a lot of exposure to our community and football program. We want to encourage Miner Nation to get their tickets, come out and show the rest of the country what an unbelievable environment we have when we’re playing before a packed house in the Sun Bowl.”

Tickets are available by calling (915) 747-UTEP by clicking here. Fans may also purchase tickets at the Eisenberg Family Ticket Office – 500 W. University Ave. (Monday-Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.).

Tickets that have already been purchased for the UTSA game will be valid for the rescheduled time.

UTEP ON ESPN HISTORY

The Miners last played on an ESPN Network (ESPN) on Sept. 15, 2017 against Arizona in the Sun Bowl. Miners last played on ESPN2 on Sept. 1, 2008 when they hosted Texas. Miners played on ESPN at Houston on Sept. 10, 2010, and at the Gildan New Mexico Bowl on Dec. 20, 2014. UTEP also hosted Tulane on ESPN on Oct. 21, 2009.
