The UTEP volleyball program will continue its spring slate on Thursday as the Miners compete against NM State at the Pan American Center in Las Cruces, N.M.
The first serve is scheduled for 6 p.m. MT and the teams will battle it out in four sets regardless of outcome.
“We are looking forward to another chance to improve,” head coach Holly Watts said. “The experience from last weekend in Arizona is vital in our continued growth as a team.”
The Miners kicked off the spring season last weekend with a 1-3 showing at the spring tournament held at the University of Arizona in Tucson. The Orange and Blue fell, 0-2, to Arizona, Arizona State and NM State but notched a two-set win over Arizona Sizzle.
UTEP will host a tournament on Saturday, April 16 in the Don Haskins Center and Foster Stevens Basketball Center. Participants include Sul Ross, Western New Mexico, East Arizona College, UTPB, NM State and New Mexico Military Institute. Action will begin at 9 a.m. and continue all day.
