Miner fans and golf enthusiasts are encouraged to compete at the UTEP Women’s Golf Benefit Tournament which is set for Friday, Nov. 19 at Lone Star Golf Club (1510 Hawkins Boulevard, 79925).
The four-person scramble is $125 per player and includes greens fee, cart, range balls, drinks, food, prizes and more! All proceeds will benefit the UTEP women’s golf program. The deadline to sign up is Wednesday, Nov. 17.
“We’re looking forward to our fundraiser tournament later in November. Lone Star [Golf Club] has been great helping us,” UTEP Head Coach Jere Pelletier said. “The funds we raise will help us get new equipment which we greatly need.”
Registration is at 10 a.m., with play beginning at 11 a.m. with a shotgun start.
