UTEP’s Titus Cheruiyot and Victor Kibiego earned bids to compete at the 2023 NCAA Division I Cross Country Championships in Charlottesville, Va., on Nov. 18.

Both Kibiego and Cheruiyot are making their second career appearance at the NCAA Championships.
Kibiego will compete at the NCAA Championships for a second straight year after finishing 102nd with a 30:12.7 as a freshman in 2022, while Cheruiyot’s previous appearance came as a freshman in 2019 where he ran a 32:21.3 (152nd).
At regionals on Friday, Kibiego, finished ninth with a 29:15.4 in the men’s 10k event, and Cheruiyot, placed 13th, clocking in a 29:20.8.
