Eugene, Ore. – Tobi Amusan’s incredulous freshman season lived to see another day after her time of 12.98 in the final 100m hurdle heat was good enough to capture the final qualifying spot on day two of the NCAA Championships.

Amusan crossed the finishline in fourth place in her stacked heat. She advances to the finals that will be run at 5:12 p.m. MT on Saturday afternoon on ESPN. Four of the eight finalists for Saturday came from Amusan’s heat.

Heptathlete Lucia Mokrasova will be the only Miner in action on Friday as she will complete the first four events (100m hurdles, high jump, shot put and 200m dash) of the heptathlon. The heptathlon competition can be viewed on espn3.com and begins at 1:30 p.m. MT
