Austin, Texas – Lucia Mokrasova sits in fourth place with 3,334 points after four events of the heptathlon have been completed at the 89th Clyde Littlefield Relays.
Mokrasova clocked a wind-aided 14.14 in the 100m hurdles to start the day off with 959 points. In the high jump, the Slovakian cleared 1.63m (5-4.25) in the high jump for an additional 771 points.
Her best showing of the day came in the shot put where she heaved the ball 13.43m (44-0.75) for 693 points. The throw of 13.43m was the best in the field of 28 athletes. She closed out the day in the 200m dash with a wind-aided time of 24.74 to tally 911 points.
She will conclude the heptathlon tomorrow with the long jump, javelin throw and 800m run.
A tape delay of all the action will air tonight on the Longhorn Network at 7:30 p.m. (MT). A tape delay of the final portion of the heptathlon will air tomorrow on the LHN at 3:30 p.m. (MT). Following that, live action of track events will be aired at 5 p.m. (MT) on the LHN.
