Vaccinations for Health Program hosts November Round of Clinics

The El Paso Fire Department is encouraging the community to take advantage of the popular Vaccinations for Health program, which is a successful part of the Medicaid Waiver Program.

Vaccinations for Health provides free influenza, blood pressure and glucose screenings to patients 18 and older, and pneumonia vaccines to those 65 and older.

There are 4 clinic dates in November and they are being held at the following locations and times:

Wednesday, Nov. 1: EPFD Safety, Health Outreach Center, 5415 Trowbridge Dr., 1 p.m. – 5:30 p.m.

Wednesday, Nov. 8: EPFD Safety, Health Outreach Center, 5415 Trowbridge Dr., 1 p.m. – 5:30 p.m.

Wednesday, Nov. 15: EPFD Safety, Health Outreach Center, 5415 Trowbridge Dr., 1 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.

No health clinic during Thanksgiving week

Wednesday, Nov. 29: EPFD Safety, Health Outreach Center, 5415 Trowbridge Dr., 1 p.m. – 5:30 p.m.

Remember that the service is FREE to residents of El Paso and Hudspeth County who are 18 and over and DO NOT have medical insurance or are on Medicaid.

Health officials encourage residents who meet these guidelines to take advantage of the program. The goal of the program is to increase the wellness of the community.

For more information, residents are encouraged to call 3-1-1 or visit www.ephealth.com
