Video: Priests of the Diocese of El Paso sing in prayer for end of COVID-19 pandemic
On Friday, the Diocese of El Paso released a video featuring Priests singing in prayer to the Immaculate Mary for the El Paso diocese community and an end to the COVID-19 Pandemic
Bishop Mark J. Seitz, Bishop of the Diocese of El Paso and an assortment of multilingual priests from all over the Diocese of El Paso sing in their native languages in prayer to the Immaculate Mary.
The Bishop Seitz and the Priests offer up the song “Immaculate Mary” in prayer during the month of May, that is also dedicated to the Virgin Mary Queen of Heaven.
The prayerful song dates back to the 19th century, when it was written by French priest and seminary director Jean Gaignet, for pilgrims to the site of the apparitions of Our Lady of Lourdes.
