Video+Gallery+Info: Plaza Hotel Renovations Begin in January

Officials with Mills Plaza Properties gave local reporters and photographers a tour of the soon-to-be-remodeled Plaza Hotel in Downtown El Paso Tuesday Morning.

The hotel, which has towered over Downtown El Paso since 1930, was designed by Trost & Trost and was Conrad Hilton’s first ‘high-rise hotel.

Sold in 1963, the hotel then simply became known as the ‘Plaza’ and was sold to local businessman Paul Foster almost ten years ago.
