Officials with Mills Plaza Properties gave local reporters and photographers a tour of the soon-to-be-remodeled Plaza Hotel in Downtown El Paso Tuesday Morning.

The hotel, which has towered over Downtown El Paso since 1930, was designed by Trost & Trost and was Conrad Hilton’s first ‘high-rise hotel.

Sold in 1963, the hotel then simply became known as the ‘Plaza’ and was sold to local businessman Paul Foster almost ten years ago.

4.5-Star independent, boutique, luxury hotel professionally managed by HHM

  • This new Plaza rehabilitation looks really great,we need to continue making progress in the downtown El Paso revitalization process. We don’t need Max Grossman or David Stout interfering with El Paso city downtown progress.

  • Saw this on the local news. IF it goes to completion, the hotel will be spectacular.
    Keeping some if it in the “old style” will do it justice. Hope to see it finished in
    spring of 2019.
