VLog: Lego 76139 – 1989 Batmobile (Michael Keaton) Unbox & Speed Build

“I’m Batman!”  The 1989 Batman movie starring Michael Keaton and Jack Nicholson was an iconic blockbuster movie.

This movie was really the start of the big superhero movie craze that is still going on today.

Tim Burton made Batman darker, grittier, and way cooler than the campy 1966 version. One of the things that made the Keaton Batman much more awesome was the sleek Batmobile they designed for the movie.

Bat’s new ride not only looked sweet, it had quite a few weapons and tricks hidden in that beautiful curvy body. Some of the successors to this Batmobile used elements from it in their design, but none captured the overall perfection of the 1989 model.

Watch as this big Lego set is unboxed and built via time lapse.
