Thanks to a new partnership between Walgreens, Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Horizon City and Clint ISD, High Desert residents will have access to COVID-19 vaccines this weekend.
On Saturday, April 10th, members of the Horizon City community have an opportunity to get vaccinated, with no appointment necessary.
Organizers share that the vaccination site is at the new Holy Spirit Catholic Church, located at 14600 Horizon Boulevard, just across the street from Horizon High School, north of Horizon City. The vaccine is the Johnson & Johnson version.
Hours of distribution will be from 8am-5pm.
Organizers clarified on Saturday morning that the event is for residents 18 and older.
