Walmart helping area families, teachers ahead of new school year

Following a school year that proved to be *virtually* unparalleled, Walmart is helping area students and families step into this new year with a fresh start.

“After getting comfortable teaching and learning from home, students and teachers are returning to a new school year, and many are once again in a stage of transition as they readjust to the latest version of ‘normal’” said Diana Marshall, executive vice president, Hardlines for Walmart U.S.

“More than ever, we wanted to take the stress out of back-to-school shopping by pulling together the best and brightest products into one easy to use list, in addition to our convenient shopping options.”

Walmart is partnering with teachers across the U.S. for the very first time to create a top-rated by teachers list, called the Teacher Go-To List. This list is the ultimate guide, chosen by teachers, to all the top-rated products to get students ready for back-to-school.

The list includes top-rated new products like the Crayola Colors of Kindness crayon pack, Paper Mate InkJoy Gel Pens and much more—all available for purchase both in-store and online.
