Western Technical College Wins Innovation Award

Western Technical College has received The Hub of Human Innovation’s award for Innovation in Technical Training and Education.

Western Tech’s leadership team was present to receive the award, which was handed out during the 2017 El Paso Innovation Awards event.

“We attribute the success of over 20,000 graduates to the commitment we made to advanced technical training over 40 years ago,” said Brad Kuykendall, Chief Executive Officer of Western Tech. “Our students know more than how to fix things. They are prepared for careers in the real world in a wide variety of vocations.”

Western Technical College, founded here in El Paso in 1970, is a family-owned and operated, nationally accredited institution of higher education.

The Hub is a technology incubator that nurtures the development of small businesses, helping them survive and grow during the start-up period when they are most vulnerable.
