Workforce Solutions Borderplex (WSB) announced Thursday the appointment of Ernestina Fauntleroy and Molly Flores to the Board of Directors.
Both will be representing the private sector, while Fauntleroy will also represent the Child Care category.
Fauntleroy has worked in the child care industry for over 20 years. As a military spouse, she obtained experience in Military Child Care Centers, serving as a Lead Teacher and Mentor.
After starting her own home child are business, Fauntleroy was awarded the Texas Rising Star designation which she has held since 2010. She has also run a National Accredited Home since 2009 and is an active National Association Family Child Care (NAFCC) Observer. She completed an Associates of Science degree in Early Childhood Education and she also holds Child Development Associate (CDA) Credentials.
Since 2019, Flores has served as Manager of Community Engagement for the El Paso Branch of the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas. She previously served fourteen years as a Foreign Service Officer for the U.S. Department of State in locations including Mexico, Costa Rica, Canada, and Washington DC.
Flores received multiple Superior and Meritorious Honor Awards from her work on economic, governance, consular, and management issues for the U.S. Government. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication (Journalism) from Truman State University and a Masters of International Affairs (Economics track) from Texas A&M University.
