Tuesday afternoon, Workforce Solutions Borderplex (WSB) officials announced their new offer of a free IT Fundamentals training course for CompTIA.
“The course is designed for jobseekers and individuals considering a career change to the IT field,” WSB officials shared. ” The course determines level of competency for IT.”
Two years ago, Workforce Solutions Borderplex (WSB) was recognized at the 2018 Annual CompTIA Partner Summit for excellence in IT Workforce Innovation in its dynamic CompTIA Cyber-Security Technology Certification program.
The award recognized WSB for its innovative effort to build a public private partnership with Wells Fargo.
A free license is available through May 31, 2020 and provides access to CompTIA Certmaster Learn eLearning for CompTIA IT Fundamentals (ITF+).
Upon completing the course, eligible participants may qualify to obtain the certification through WSB funding. Participants must contact a career navigator at 915-887-2600 to determine eligibility.
