YISD’s Del Norte Heights Students Make Toys for Animals at Humane Society
Students at Del Norte Heights Elementary School volunteered their time to make toys for animals at the Humane Society of El Paso.
The toys included goodies for dogs, puppies, cats and kittens.
The students also wrote thank you letters to be given to future adopters of the pets.
Humane Society of El Paso Volunteer and Community Outreach Program Manager Lupe Diaz visited the school to pick up the first batch of toys and letters during Red Ribbon Week.
