Marcela Riano, owner of Young Rembrandts El Paso & Las Cruces, received the Team Player award at the company’s recent virtual convention.
“While our convention looked a bit different this year, it was wonderful to (virtually) come together to celebrate the resiliency of our program, brand and franchise system,” said Bette Fetter, Founder and CEO of Young Rembrandts.
“This has been a challenging time, but it’s thanks to franchisees like Marcela that Young Rembrandts continues to be a trusted partner in communities around the world.”
Officials say that Riano and her team were presented the Team Player award, a special recognition given to franchisees who most represents “working for the team” during the past year.
“While providing great service to the El Paso/Las Cruces area, Riano operates her territory with the collective good of the system in mind. She often brings ideas to the table, communicates effectively and adheres to best practices in all aspects.”
“While this year looks a little different than normal, we dove head-first into the online learning,” said Riano. “This award is a great reminder that our voice is heard throughout the system, and I credit my team with their help in adapting quickly and helping to share what’s working and what’s not at a local level.”
Art fans in El Paso and Las Cruces can join in on the fun right away with Young Rembrandts’ new online class offering. The classes provide fresh, interactive content each week that allows children to continue to develop their fundamental art literacy skills and academic knowledge from home.
