The Ysleta’s Young Women’s Leadership Academy (YWLA), a partner school of the Young Women’s Preparatory Network (YWPN) and part of the Ysleta ISD, will graduate its first class of seniors this June.
To celebrate this milestone, YWLA will host its first annual College Signing Day. The event will feature celebratory remarks, a presentation featuring what college students plan to attend, and announcements of scholarships awarded to graduating seniors. YWLA’s inaugural graduating class has earned over $11.5 million in merit-based scholarships including 3 Questbridge matches, 2 Gates Scholars, a Dell Scholar, and a Terry Scholar.
Signing day will take place on Friday, May 6th from 6:00-7:00PM. The event will be held at the Starlight Event Center, 6650 Continental Dr.
