Ysleta ISD announces dates for Class of 2021 graduations

Thursday morning, officials with the Ysleta Independent School District announced the dates its Class of 2021 commencement, with each comprehensive high school hosting its respective graduation ceremony in mid-June.

YISD officials share that the ceremonies will be held outdoors in each school’s stadium, with limited audience capacity, in order to maintain health precautions to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

The graduation dates, times, and locations are as follows for all comprehensive high schools, as well as Valle Verde Early College High School at Ysleta ISD:

Friday, June 11

8 p.m. – Ysleta High School, Hutchins Stadium, 8600 Alameda Avenue

Monday, June 14

8 a.m. – Parkland High School, Matador Stadium, 5932 Quail Avenue
8 p.m. – Riverside High School, Tom Work Riverfront Stadium, 301 Midway Drive

Tuesday, June 15

8 a.m. – Hanks High School, Excalibur Stadium, 2001 Lee Trevino Drive
8 p.m. – Bel Air High School, Highlander Stadium, 731 N. Yarbrough Drive

Wednesday, June 16

8 a.m. – Valle Verde Early College High School, Trooper Stadium at Eastwood High School, 2430 McRae Boulevard

8 p.m. – Eastwood High School, Trooper Stadium, 2430 McRae Boulevard

Thursday, June 17

8 a.m. – Del Valle High School, Conquest Stadium, 950 Bordeaux Drive

District officials add that further details on the commencement ceremonies – including number of guests allowed per graduate, available parking areas for each stadium, and other restrictions – will be communicated to all graduating seniors and their parents in the coming weeks.
