Ysleta ISD school gets makeover courtesy of Lowe’s

On Tuesday morning, local Lowe’s Home Improvement team members descended on the Lower Valley campus of Cedar Grove Elementary to revamp one of the common areas of the school.

The Lowe’s employees are donating their own time and materials to paint portable classrooms and build a brick patio deck for students, as well as assembling and painting  5 brand new benches. The area will be used for students to read and relax during the school day.

Lowe’s Foundation contributed more than $5000 to support this project as part of their Lowe’s Heroes Grants.

The grants are part of  Lowe’s stores and their employees dedication to benefit and help public schools and nonprofit organizations in the United States.
